Nik Kolidas: Pandora



Recording on Pandora's Box began in April of 2009 at PPI Studios in SOHO and continued through October, 2010. The theme of the project was to bring classic rock ideals into the cutting edge. All the basic tracks were cut with a live band, but then accentuated with samples and master Pro Tools manipulation. The result blends a thick, Beatles / late 60's rock sound with current bands like Coldplay.  The songs are introspective melodic and psychedelic.

Actress Mackenzie Phillips (and daughter of Rock N' Roll Hall Of Famer John Phillips) opened the door to some of rock's finest studio musicians to help build the band.
